This Sunday (the day before the day before Tuesday), hunker down with your favourite squeeze and tune in to the MMM live radio-play - direct from the State Theatre in Sydney.

6 of Australia's rising comedy, writing, radio and television talents will be on stage performing an hilarious new sketch-comedy drama.

LISTEN as the audience in the theatre wets itself at the uproarious hijinks on stage. FEEL the emotion of a dramatic story unfolds into your ears. PARTICIPATE by submitting your own story-line suggestions before hand. CRY as it ends with the death of one of your favourite characters from the night.

Using only the imagery created by the soundscapes at the disposal of our live sound-effect guy, Benny, our 6 comedians Andrew, Dave, Mark, Adam, Alex, Simon and Susie will move the audience to rolling in the aisles (within OH&S regulations) and pooping themselves with the vigour of their laughing (within good taste boundaries). Plus, guests from Network Ten TV will get 'em smiling.

Set deep in history's vaults of the day before the day before tomorrow, 12 characters living in the city of Tripolis go about their daily lives interacting with one another and generally adventuring.

Split into short 3-5minute segments, each mic-break develops the relationships and stories of the characters, but is also a self-contained sketch concept unto itself.

Produced live on the stage, the room is filled with the anticipation and laughter of the crowd as they titter to each joke and cry with each emotional moment. It takes us back to the days of Radio City Music Hall in New York, the War of the Worlds, and the infamous Goulburn Prison riot accidental broadcast of 1912 - which everyone thought was a joke.

More recently, Little Britain, Flight of the Conchords and the Mighty Boosh have given it a bash and came out with more than just audio-bruised knuckles. Plus, we'll turn it into a podcast for download, Gervais styles.

Our core creative team includes performers and artists who have recently performed in the Melbourne and Edinburgh Comedy Festivals, the National Radio Producer at Network Ten, a national fellowship recipient with the Melbourne Theatre Company and a presenter on MMM. All of this means that we can access a pile of cool people and know how to use em.

Cor blimey - we must be good.
