THE Format...

THE Big Show (The B.S. for short, and for obvious reasons) is a 2-hour comedy show in the style of "Get This," "Martin/Molloy" and "Hamish & Andy." With David M. Green and Matty B in the hot seat, or seats, depending on budget restraints, listeners in and around the target demographic of males aged 25-50 will be entertained by brilliant sketch writing, deadly satire, elaborate production and spontaneous wisecracks on issues, local and global, topical and grossly un-topical. From "interviews" with "celebrities" and prank calls with a Bas Rutten soundboard to fictional ads for non-existent businesses with a cast of characters and mundane personal experiences made entertaining through the use of zany sound effects, THE Big Show is big enough for all, even if DMG & Matty B's manhood isn't. And that doesn't even make sense... Hey, it doesn't have to! It's THE Big Show! We GUARENTEE you'll love it!* (*Not a guarantee).

THE Hosts...

David M. Green

Adelaidean, writer & comedian. He was a panel-op at SAFM until he was replaced with a computer (also he was stealing photocopiers). He's written and produced sketch comedy for 891 ABC Adelaide & Fresh 92.7FM and since 2006 has created and hosted several comedy/variety/talk/music shows on Radio Adelaide 101.5FM. DMG also performs the odd stand-up, as well as the even sit-down comedy. He was an extra in "McLeod's Daughters" (scene omitted from final cut due to excessive amounts of David M. Green), has dressed up as a light-bulb and a giant purple echidna for laughs (and money) and has a degree in Psychology. Currently works for Allan Miller's Fast Voice-Overs, a cinema and delivers the occasional pizza. An avid soft drink connoisseur, in his spare time DMG also enjoys golf, cycling, cranberry sauce, light rail, collecting obscure '80s new wave records and writing a comedy sci-fi novel. He was also named "Typo Magazine's Person of the Bear."

Matthew "Matty B" Boughen

Radio's "Matty B" is an elusive and controversial creature. Composed of several thousand radioactive nanobots, he was built in the fires of Mount Doom (AKA Sydney's western suburbs) shortly after the Ring of Power was destroyed. As an actual being of flesh and blood Matthew's credentials speak for themselves, so much so that his credentials could probably host the show without him. Most recently he was a writer/director on Channel Seven's "Larry the Lawnmower" and a writer/voice-over artist for the upcoming children's game show "Pyramid." He was also the EPK Director for the feature film "Dying Breed." In film and television Matthew has worked as a writer, editor, director, 1st AD, 2nd Unit Director, Coordinator and much more. In 2004 Matthew became an active presenter at Radio Adelaide 101.5FM and over the years, has appeared in a number of programs – most recently co-hosting 'Brain Damage' alongside David M. Green. Matty B also enjoys sports (the competitive kind, not the Huey Lewis album), accosting celebrities and making Lord of the Rings references.
